hi,All: Has anyone tried to boot vista with efi bios on IA32 platform? I have installed vista on my IA32 platform with legacy bios. After finished install it, i flashed EFI bios into my motherboard. Then boot into efi shell. But i dont know how to boot into vista.
"winldfw.efi" is vista's bootloader?

I read a power point presentation "Pre-OS Firmware For The Windows Longhorn Boot Environment"( Andrew Ritz presented it in WinHEC2005). It shows that Windows Longhorn supports "EFI boot firmware" on x86(IA32) platform. I think it means that Windows Longhorn supports 32-bit EFI bios,right? Why not support 32-bit EFI bios now?
Windows Vista could not install on x86(IA32) platform with only EFI bios,right? Windows Vista only supports legacy bios on x86(IA32) platform now,right?

It has not been implemented yet, it supports but probably only on internal builds. Windows Vista supports EFI bios only on IA64(such as intel's Itatium platform) platform now,right? Or Vista does not support EFI bios whether on IA64 or IA32 platform now.

Windows Vista is not supported on Itanium at all.
